Pack in the protein with these 4 easy breakfast ideas




They say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. But if you’re like the rest of us, you may find it hard to find the time to eat anything in the morning, much less create a well-balanced, protein-packed option. However, if you skip breakfast, you may find yourself exhausted – and cranky –  long before lunchtime. And if you start the day with a trip to the gym, it’s even more important that you fuel your body to get through the rest of the day.

Whether you’re running late for school or trying to squeeze in a run before starting the day, try one of these four breakfast ideas ideas that don’t involve cooking:

1. Almond butter and apple slices
Looking for a quick breakfast that you can snack on as you get dressed in the morning? Just slice up an apple, scoop a couple of tablespoons of almond butter onto a plate and dip the fruit into the butter for a simple – and delicious – meal. While it’s a great way to start your morning, this easy meal is a great option any time during the day when you need a quick pick-me-up and don’t want to pull out a bunch of ingredients.

Sometimes, the easiest way to simplify your morning is to do the prep work the night before. Shower before bed, set out your outfit and yes – make your breakfast.
